Miracle of miracles! After almost 10 years without a win at the home of our greatest rivals, The Gypsies, we actually beat Clyde 2-0 on Saturday. Woe is me, since I missed it. The eye was not up for the excitement of a derby match, but shoulod have healed properly for the Scotland v Italy showdown at Hampden on the 17th. The hairs at the back of my neck are rising already!

All Souls
@ 2007-11-02 – 01:08:02 pm
I never cease to be moved by the Requiem Mass of All Souls Day. Here are folk we loved most dearly being remembered, not only those in our immediate family, but also those of the wider church family that we belong to. It's an opportunity to remember with fondness, and there are often tears shed. That's perfectly healthy, but the tears of regret are hard to deal with.
I often think that the single red rose on a coffin sometimes says, "Too late. Too late have I shown my love" It makes me try to reconcile, mend fences, and be on the best of terms, for we know not the day or the hour, and to live with regret must be fearful.
Say "I love you" to someone special in your life today. You know it makes sense!

Seeing you More Clearly!

Recovering from the eye op, but things went very well and my sight is already much better! The lens implant on my left eye means that I can see almost perfectly out of it! A miracle! Last time I could do that was when I was at Primary school! It will take a couple of weeks for my eyes to settle down and adjust, but already I've had to ditch my specs! They're useless!
Just a wee bit on the computer today. Already feeling the pain and strain, but hey! It's worth it to finish off November's Church Mag!
