Despite all my preaching on the Power of Positive Thinking, I'm still convinced that the church will be empty at my celebration of 30 years in ministry on June 24th! So, all of you in Blogland... you are welcome to the service at 7.30pm on that evening, and to the wine-fest and food which will follow, courtesy of my magnificent Vestry!

Congratulations, Kenny! I'd come, but I'll be celebrating my twentieth anniversary in the Holy Land. It's a tough job and all that.....
Keep up the blogging, btw and ignore those who might bad mouth you. Wee people can comment from the blogosphere in ways that weren't heard in the past, and some folk don't like it. -

Do you have a thurible without bells? Ours is a bit second hand and past its best! We are tring for a wee rehearsa about 6.30ish. Been too many years since we've all done this stuff!

No problem. I'll borrrow the parish pot and boat. Do you have charcoal, incense grains and something to hold the charcoal while you light it? If not I'll bring ours.
