I mentioned to my GP some time back that I was going almost totaly deaf in my left ear. (Just to add to my other ailments!) After a few appointments and a talk with the consultant later, they are going to put a gromit in my ear! However, before this is done, they have me in for two hours this morning to check me over, and ascertain whether I'm fit for surgery! Moi? Unfit for surgery? It's a total pain, as I'm pretty busy this week, and to make things worse, surgery is due on the 25th if I "pass" today. The day after the "Party".

However, it will be good to hear clearly again! The RW agrees with this. She always says I don't listen. It's just that I don't hear, darling! Honest!
