Shameful - the decision tonight in Westminster over the detention time without trial. Shame on Irish Democratic Unionists. Shame on a Labour Government I used to idolise. Shame on you all, including those who were dragged out of their sick beds to vote for an ailing government. Shame on Tories who voted against, but secretly support the concept.
Scotland's independence now becomes imperative.
If I were a young Muslim living in Englandshire tonight, I would sleep less soundly.
Oh! And by the way, surprise surprise... the BBC admits it's London centred with its news! We kind of know that. They don't give a toss about Scotland. We just don't matter, it seems. Much like the poor folk who will now be detained for 6 weeks without trial. Buy hey! Middle Englandshire has to be appeased.
And just to piddle me off more, I had to listen, on ITV, to Harry Redknapp telling me last night that Englandshire should have been at Euro 2008, and would have won it, cos they're better than Holland, Portugal and Germany. Aye right!

Actually, as a non-Muslim Englishman living in England, I think I will also sleep less soundly. When the DUP is shoring up the government, you know there is something very wrong indeed going on.
As for the BBC and its so-called 'London' centered-ness: I live in London. I can tell you that the BBC news has as little relevance to the lives of the average Londoner as it does to you. There is little or no investigative journalism, just the regurgitation by lazy journalists of press hand-outs and the coverage of fake PR events, interspersed with tired political hacks claiming to be having 'debates' but in reality saying nothing much about anything in any depth.
