The RW hosted the barbecue, in the rain, of course, on Saturday, following the Friends' Car Treasure Hunt! This is an occasional fixture, where I try to lose my congregation for an afternoon at least, sending them off on wild goose chases! Some take it seriously, and others not so, depending how well they have done! MW's car won this year, and gives the same trio bragging rights for the next twelve months!
Unfortunately, one team has to lose, or lose spectacularly. Search & Rescue missions managed to locate the group below before Sunday's service!
A wonderful time was had by all, except those who missed out half of it, and the only questionable part of the day was MW's socks, which have thankfully been cut out of the picture!
