St Auggie's hosted West Dunbartonshire's Service for Veterans on Sunday afternoon. Over 250 folk crammed into the building for a service initiated by John McFall MP. It was quite a spectacle, and the sort of thing St Auggie's lends itself well to! Wonderful buildings deserve this sort of hooley from time to time! The pic shows "your tuly", stole askew, just before the Benediction!
I would have been a bit disappointed in you if your stole had NOT been slightly askew! It did not detract one iota from the dignity of the service. Honestly. Your stole symbolised the right of human beings to be that wee bit different.
