After just a little deliberation, I changed our power supplier yesterday. I'm not advertising, but I signed on the dotted line, with a fixed rate for a year, just minutes before Scottish Gas announced a 35% rise in their prices! BTW neither my old or new company is Scottish Gas!
The man wanted to know how many rooms I had. "Eh!, Six and a back garden". The pet family don't like closed doors, but if I were to shut the sliding glass doors leading into the back garden now, they would rise from their slumbers and want out. That's the way it is in The Rectory, which does our carbon footprint no favours, nor our wallet at the end of the month!
I think I'm needing a wee parish in The Gambia after all!
