Sister is moving into her new home this weekend, so Superman, (aka the Rambling Rector), to the rescue last night and today to help move all contents with a hired Transit and some younger muscle. The RR soon discovers that he has a talent for giving advice rather than doing too much lifting and carrying, but that is a talent honed through years of parish experience!

Two sisters + one house move = two demented hamsters, and a cheery word from me is what is needed from time to time, again learned from my vast parish experience..... "Who's putting the kettle on then?"

More sinister forces arrive later today in Glasgow in the form of Dunfermline FC who come to the Hallowed Ground of Partick Thistle Nil looking for points! Will I be able to give the advice needed to cut corners and have the house move finished before 3pm?

I may have to break my rule and do lots of the lifting and carrying!
