Several reports on the Parish Blog may have alerted you all to the carnage in The Rectory over the past week. We are being advised that the Silent Assassin, what a cute little cat she is, doesn't rate us as hunters, and so has been showing us the way by bringing in dinner on a regular basis. Mice and birds, I suppose, are things we would expect these days, from the SA, but the weekend saw us presented with a reasonably sized bunny rabbit.
Despite the ministrations of the RW, the poor soul died, and, no, we ddn't eat it.
Instead, we have come across this kit for local rabbits/squirrels to help them repel the hunting skills of the SA. The kit will be distributed to local wildlife in the daylight, as the SA gently sleeps.

This will not work Kenny. Yer US equipped and trained squirrel in Iraq gear against a skilled, Scottish special forces Silent Assassin moggy? Only one outcome - squirrel on toast! Remember - it was a Scot who founded the SAS!
