As I switched to Radio Scotland this morning to check on the Global Banking Crisis the commentator was telling the world about Partick Thistlenil's performance. 'They came fro their trendy West End Houses and the wee boys from the schemes gubbed them'
So, you are supporting a yuppie team? I thought Firhill was all about wee men in bunnets from Maryhill and Drumchapel.-

Obviously an Airdrie fan. We have this reputation, these days, of attracting students and other fowk from the West End. Total myth! Although I recently spotted a fan reading his Scotsman at half-time!
Certainly, Thistlenil fans are usually better educated, and that's why we swear at the referree in New Testament Greek and Aramaic.
Oh! And we wash ourselves too, unlike the Airdrionians. -
I can't get depressed about sporting events , unless I've lost money betting on them !
