Well, the "Big Boy" arrived at tea-time tonight, and I have to say that Archie is a magnificent dog. Big, yes! Well behaved, yes, playful, yes, but he's huge!
Peanut and Toastie are rather cowed in his presence, and the cat has taken up residence under the bed upstairs, but all is well tonight and he's beginning to settle. He walks well by my side and comes when he's called, so that's good for starters, although he eats like a horse.
We're hoping that we have found a good home for him, but if not, we'll hold on to him until we find a suitable place for him to go.
