Well, snow today, just at the time when the boiler is playing up and the central heating is intermittent to say the least! The Silent Assassin brought in one of her mouse friends at 7.30 this morning, supposedly for a heat, and the blighter has disappeared. I know not where, but the SA has lunch on site if she can find it!

This time next week, the contractors will have taken possession of the church hall, and will be preparing it for demolition. I reckon a parade around it seven times and a quick blast of a trumpet or two would do the job, or else a big bad wolf with a bit of puff! However, it all concentrates the mind. We only have a few days left to save what we want to keep and transfer it into the church building. My office will be the main focus for the next few days, and hopefully by the weekend we'll be up and running in the "Upper Room" of the church.

This new office space has its advantages, as it's only accessible by a narrow winding stone staircase, so folk are less likely to dump their rubbish in it, or see it as an alternative storage space. There are disadvantages too. The photocopier will never get up the stairway, in fact we may even have problems relocating the filing cabinet!

However, it will all be worth it in the end!
