The old heart is racing again like there's no tomorrow, about 130bpm, and it's been causing me some dizziness today which has not been welcome.

The Insurance loss adjuster came today and took lots of pictures of the damage to our building. At least he's happy enough to proceed with repairs once the tenement gable end is fixed. A meeting later on in the afternoon was frustrating, as not all the owners of the tenement were present and firm decisions couldn't be made. The Building Control folk have given them until Wednesday morning to have a plan of rapid action on his desk, but I fear this may drag on a bit. Had a smile when Building Control said that their next meeting may well be with a solicitor and a man with a curly wig!

Archie comes back in the morning, and the RW has invested heavily in his future feeding programme. She decided to buy in bulk, so £60 was spent on Archie's food. Looks like this is a long term commitment! He'll be worth it, although the cat's not looking too pleased!

Off to Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae tomorrow to have a recce prior to helping with leading a renewal weekend there in April. This is unless the Firth of Clyde has frozen over and the ferry is off, but they're hardy men these Cal Mac operators! I'll miss Archie's arrival, but we'll have all day Sunday together as the RW is travelling to Edinburgh to watch her beloved Welsh rugby team decimate the Scotland XV. At least she doesn't gloat when this happens, so the marriage is safe enough!
